50th Anniversary
Today senior LCVP students visited Coffey, Athenry to help celebrate their 50th anniversary. There we met past students, Dylan Hanley and Cormac Heneghan who are completing apprenticeships with Coffey. Coffey are responsible for all types of Civil Engineering. They build motorways, bridges, roundabouts, railways, water treatment plants etc. We visited stands to find information on possible career choices in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, health and safety, IT, and Apprenticeships. We saw an engine taken apart. We saw water treatment systems before they were delivered on-site. We practised our drone flying skills!
