St Vincent De Paul
The Society Of St Vincent de Paul helps thousands of families and individuals each year in Ireland. However they cannot do this without support through volunteering, donations and fundraising. This week DCS launched Junior SVDP under the direction of local VDP Officer Mary Jessop. Our Transition Year members will meet regularly and be given opportunities to volunteer in their local community together with fundraising throughout the year. As well as making an invaluable difference in the lives of people in their local community our newest members will also experience living out their faith in a practical sense. Finally their participation in SVDP will contribute to the attainment of their Gaisce and JP11 Awards.
