Saoirse to represent DCS in All Ireland Multi Events
Saoirse Hunter (3rd Year) will represent DCS in the Combined Athletics All-Ireland finals this weekend in Athlone IT. It will be a busy day for Saoirse as she will compete in 5 events and her position in each event will accumulate a score and she will get a total for all 5 events. Recently, Saoirse travelled with our students Sarah Hartnett (winner of the 800m), Chloe Costello, Jamie Tierney, Tiernan Mitchell and Tomas Carr. All of our students participated really well competing in the long jump, high jump, shot putt, hurdles and 800m. Saoirse qualified for the finals and also came first in the high jump.
