Bus Eireann School Transport 2020-2021
Dear 6th Class parent/guardian, I hope you and your family are all keeping safe and well. I have been asked to bring the following information from Bus Eireann to your attention in relation to applying for school transport for next August.
“While it is the prerogative of parents to send their children to the school of their choice, eligibility for school transport is to the nearest school. To assist parents in relation to school transport eligibility, it would be appreciated if the enclosed Question and Answer Sheet could be brought to parents’ attention. Applications to be made online at www.buseireann.ie and must be submitted before the last Friday in April (24th April 2020). It is important that applications for school transport are made on time as late applicants are not guaranteed seats. Further information or clarification may be obtained by parents visiting the Bus Éireann website www.BusEireann.ie“
