Tuam AC Juveniles Success – Congrats Saoirse and Sarah

Well done to our 2 of our girls on their continued success in Athletics with Tuam AC Juveniles last Sunday in Kilkenny. Saoirse Hunter was 1st home from Tuam AC, 2nd home from Galway and 6th home from Connacht and Sarah Hartnett was 2nd home from Tuam AC and 3rd home from Galway. They had an absolutely amazing race, great to see 2 Dunmore Community School Students coming in the first 2 home from Tuam AC and top 50 of nearly 200 Athletes in the All Irelands Cross country Championships 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️

Some great comments on our girls on the Tuam AC Facebook page.

Saoirse Hunter, who has been a revelation this cross country season and not alone led home the Tuam team for the first time in her career but was also the second scorer on the Galway team who finished in 8th place.
Hunter is an inspiration to anyone in the club as only 12 months ago she wasn’t even on the club team but her hard work throughout lockdown has paid great dividend to the second year Dunmore CS student.
Closely behind Hunter was young Sarah Hartnett having the best race she has ever had at this level, running a year out of her age group to take 49th and third scorer for Galway.
