Trip to Medtronic
Transition Year Students along with their teachers Ms Clesham and Mr Campbell enjoyed a very informative day at Medtronic, Galway recently. They learned about life changing technologies which improve the way diseases are treated. Through practical workshops they were able to find out about products which extend peoples’ lives and take away pain. The students were fascinated with how the company works and learned about possible careers in this area. We are so thankful to Elaine Keaveney and her team for organising such a worthwhile day for the students and for the hospitality shown on the day. It certainly generated a lot of discussion afterwards among the students. It was a privilege for the students and teachers to be able to partake in such an interesting and informative day at Medtronic.
