Seniors Boys Football
Dunmore travelled to play Presentation College Headford this week. Once again playing a school nearly three times our size, this didn’t deter our lads. The game was played in atrocious conditions where both teams had to deal with very poor underfoot. This curtailed the openness of the game but Dunmore played some great passages of play all throughout.
Dunmore led by 4 at halftime with the advantage of the breeze. Headford used this breeze to help them close the gap to one point but Dunmore rallied again to finish out the game with a two-point margin finishing on a scoreline of 3-7 to 0-14.
