Senior Boys Connacht Quarter Final
Dunmore CS 7-12 Pobail Scoil Achill 1-4
Dunmore Senior boys came through their Quarter final relatively comfortable in a one sided game. From the outset Dunmore let their opponents know they were only in Castlebar for a win and that’s what ensued. From goal keeper Sean Walkin right up to Corner forward Dylan Brady Dunmore produced a top quality performance. They gave the Achill side no time to settle and from 15 minutes in Dunmore were 2 -7 to no score in the lead. From there Dunmore pushed on and led at halftime 3-7 to 0-1. All lines of defence, midfield and attack were in top form plus the subs introduced all displayed great work rate and commitment which will be needed in abundance later on in the competition. Sub Keeper PJ Donnellan produced a fine save from a penalty which capped off a great all round performance. The team are looking forward to their Semi-final in the new year.
