Sarah and Megan brave the elements in All Ireland Crosscountry finals.
Two of our most toughest students travelled to Waterford this weekend to compete in the All-Ireland Cross Country Finals. It was an extremely tough course and the weather conditions were very difficult for our brave athletes. Both girls had the experiences of competing in the All-Ireland finals last year in Belfast. Both girls were very happy with their performances. Sarah had an incredible finish placing in 12th position. Many thanks to their parents for bringing the girls to the competition to represent the school. There is no rest this week for both girls as they will play in the U15 All-Ireland semi-final on Tuesday and the All-Ireland semi-final in football on Thursday.
