Public Speaking workshop with Alan Devine (Fair City Actor)
Ms Clesham organised a very interesting public speaking programme for Transition year students recently with Alan Devine ( Actor in Fair City). The students were afforded the opportunity through a series of fun workshops to get up on their feet and talk. The aim was to help the students find confidence in their voice , connect with their audience and create and deliver a short speech. The students really enjoyed the experience . On their first day with Alan they were encouraged to discover the basic skills required to present themselves and their ideas to an audience in an interesting and engaging manner. On day 2, each student delivered a short speech which they had created. Alan complimented the effort put in by the students and the students found the whole experience very enjoyable .
