Online Information Evening for Parents and Teachers on Anxiety and Depression
Cycle Against Suicide with Dr. Blanaid Gavin, Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist: https://people.ucd.ie/blanaid.gavin is hosting an information evening for parents and teachers.
In this session, Dr. Gavin will talk about what anxiety is, why it happens, when to be concerned, and how to help. Dr. Gavin will also discuss what is known about the causes and consequences of depression and what is known to aid recovery.
It is taking place via zoom on Thursday, March 9th – from 7 pm to 9 pm, and this event is free to all parents and teachers. On the register page, enter your name in place of the teacher’s name.
