Old Tuam Society visit
Special thanks to Anne Tierney, President of The Old Tuam Society who joined us in DCS last week to give a presentation to our students who are involved in Breaking the Seal. The Old Tuam Society are participating with the Breaking the SEAL Programme (BTS), an NUIG initiative programme. The programme connects second-level students to the archival material, primary sources, and collections of the Hardiman Library at NUI Galway and the students own locality. Anne is mentoring some of the students, as they complete their mandatory research, and will provide access to archival material from the society.
