National Junior Volleyball Championships RD 1
Our Transition Year students organized & hosted the first round of the boys & girls Junior Volleyball Championships. As part of their P.E programme they completed a Volleyball Coaching Course. They used their knowledge to coach our junior teams, officiate & referee the games. We welcomed Roscommon CC for the girls competition and Colaiste na Eachreidh Athenry & Mary Immaculate Lisdoonvarna for the boys competition. Our teams will progress to the Cup stage of the competition. This is a new sport to our school and it gives our Transition Year students the opportunity to develop their leadership & organizational skills.
