Lidl jerseys debut

Yesterday, our senior girls premiered their new jerseys from Lidl’s serious support campaign as they took on Westport in wintery conditions in Bekan in their all-Ireland semi-final preparations.
We would like to thank everyone who supported Dunmore CS in this campaign a while back and made this possible. A huge thank you to Lidl for championing ladies’ football in Ireland and continuing to highlight the inequalities in the sport. Their recent advertising campaign must be commended. Lidl have been very active in their support of ladies’ football over the past few years and we hope this encourages others to get on board.
The new jerseys, designed by TY student and player Megan Healy, will be a fantastic alternative to our black and green jerseys, sponsored this year by Knightbuild, in the event of jersey clashes in future games. We would like to take this opportunity to thank both Knightbuild and Lidl for their support of our ladies, it is greatly appreciated.
Our senior ladies are busy preparing for their all-Ireland semi-final following their superb win over St Louis, Kiltimagh in the Connacht final a few weeks back. They will take on the Leinster winners. Leinster final sees Loreto Kilkenny battle it out with Dominican College and has been pushed out -now scheduled for 29th of February. Our all-Ireland semi-final will be played the week of March the 4th with details soon to be finalised. We would like to express our pride of the ladies and their achievements and wish them all the best in their preparations.
