Enterprise Final – National Final
Well done to our Second Year Business Class who came first in the Intermediate section of the County Final of the Enterprise Competition. They won €250. Their idea solves a problem in every household, pairing socks in the laundry. How many of you have bags of odd socks in your home? Solve this problem by buying Locked Sock from the Second Year Enterprise team made up of Amy Deane, Rebecca Noone, Katie Slattery and JP Rabbitte. They worked hard on this project during lockdown. The National Final is held in mid-May. Best of Luck!
Block Heads was a group of first year students who made Christmas decorations from wood. Transition Year Students helped them out. They won third prize in the Junior section. Congrats and well done!
LCVP 5 class submitted their social enterprise project which was to give a present of toiletries to every resident in a local Nursing Home at Christmas.
Ella O’Donoghue made the boot hut which is used to store wellies and boots outside the back door and avoid a mess coming into the house.
