DCS U14 Girls vs Ballygar
The Friday before last, our u14 girls football team travelled away to Ballygar. Each individual on the team worked extremely hard from start to finish leading to a very impressive win. The first quarter had some great displays of skill and teamwork, there was only a point in the difference for the majority of the quarter but thankfully we found the net to settle us for the remainder of the game. Our backs and goalkeepers were excellent throughout by only conceding 1-6, our midfield partnership of Sarah Hartnett and Lily Concannon worked tirelessly and the combined efforts of Megan Healy and Chloe Costello upfront ensured we claimed victory. Let’s hope we can continue this winning streak in our upcoming three matches. Well done to the girls, Ms O’Reilly and the TY girls Grace, Alicia, Chloe & Sinéad!
