DCS qualify for All Ireland Cross Country
Our young athletes braved the elements today in Bushfield, Loughrea in the Connacht Schools Cross Country Championships. Both teams finished in 5th place and we are very proud of their achievements. Minor: Megan Healy, Lily Concannon, Sally Martyn & April Lane Kelly Junior: Saoirse Hunter, Sarah Hartnett, Ciara Farrell & Emma Concannon. There were great individual performances by Megan Healy (6th) and Lily Concannon (10th) in the Minor Race. Sarah Hartnett (5th) and Saoirse Hunter (8th) ran great races in the Junior Race. They will represent DCS in the All-Ireland Championships in March. Many thanks to our parents for helping out our students on the day.
