DCS Annual School Run/Walk
Our Annual School Run/Walk will take place on Thursday 24th October at 1 pm sharp. This is a really enjoyable event that involves students staff & community. The 6.2km scenic route gives athletes a chance to compete while the less competitive can enjoy the walk & chat along the way.
Our Leaving Cert Applied class will host this event as part of their General Education task so we would like as many people as possible to support them. Sponsorship cards have been given to each family and we encourage everyone to support this fundraiser as all funds will go to promote sport & wellbeing in our school. There will be refreshments for everyone in the sports hall afterwards. There will be prizes for those who wish to compete. Everyone is welcome & we encourage as many people from the community to join us. We also welcome back St Mary’s Secondary School Ballygar who participate in our run every year.
