Community Games Art Competition 2019
This Saturday the 2nd of March will see the community games art competition happening here in DCS at 10.30 in the Study Hall. The competition is open to ages up to u16 level and this year’s theme is “Community Games” so we are looking for a piece that represents any competition included in the Community Games, such as but not limited to, athletics, swimming, relay, chess etc. The finished piece can be completed in any medium: pencil, paint, marker etc. but please bring your own supplies.
We are hoping for an exciting competition and encouraging participation from our talented DCS students. Entry to the Community Games costs €5 but this includes entry to numerous competitions. Tomorrow’s 1st and 2nd placed participants will then go forward to compete at the county final in Mountbellew. Good luck to all entering!
