Climate Action Workshop
Last week the 2B CSPE class had a Climate Action Workshop with a representative from the SEAI. Following on from the SEAI’s and the Dept Of Educations Deep Energy Retrofit Pilot grant, where Dunmore CS received huge funding last summer to make our school more energy-efficient, our 2B class decided to enter the One Good Idea competition.
One of our boys’ teams “The Binjas” had great success and they qualified for the Regional Finals and in preparation for this, they must create a 1 min film and 3 min Presentation Pitch that will be played in the Omniplex cinema Limerick on 25th February. The class explored impacts of recycling, experiments with CO2 Gas and thoroughly enjoyed it all.
