BT Young Scientist Entry Success for DCS #BTYSTE 2024
Amid a record-breaking wave of entries for the 60th BT Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition, we’re thrilled to announce that three of our students have qualified for the BT Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition 2024. Out of a staggering 2,040 entries, only 550 projects have been shortlisted by the judges.
A huge congratulations to our TY students, Jack Mannix, Conor Moloney and Ellen Gilmore, who under the expert guidance of Ms McGinty, are heading to BTYSTE 2024 in January with their impressive project in the Social and Behavioural Scientist Category. The project is entitled ‘Lights Out: An examination of sleep deprivation and cognitive decline in Irish adolescents’.
This is an exceptional achievement and we are so proud of them and look forward to supporting them in their research and work between now and January.
