6km Walk
Dunmore Community School recently held a six-kilometre
walk to raise funds for the school. The walk was supported by the Parents Council and all students, teachers and many parents took part in what has become an annual event. Three generations of one family took part in the run. Student Sean Ryan was joined by his mother Jean Coleman and his grandfather Paddy Coleman. At the lively age of 92, Paddy completed the 6km in style, running the last few yards into the school to the applause of all gathered to cheer him on.
