Let’s Get The Ball Rolling – In Association with Dunmore MacHales

On Friday the 31st March at 8pm in the Town Hall Dunmore we welcome you to join us at an open community event featuring prominent speakers in conversation, talking about mental health, well-being, diversity, stress, alcohol abuse and peer pressure and how they sought help at the toughest times. Speakers include David Gough – top level referee, Shane Carthy – Dublin footballer and Justin Campbell – former Galway hurler as well as a representative from the charity, Jigsaw. Admission is free and all are welcome. (Over 15’s)

By making Mental Health a part of everyday conversations we can eliminate stigma and encourage people to seek support. We have such a large presence in our community, we have the capacity to reach a wide audience and help spread the message that there is help available. Our aim here is to get the ball rolling, start the conversations and open the door for people to make that approach to help.
