Our Senior Girls Team had an amazing performance in the U19 Galway semi final against Castlerea Community School last Friday but sadly lost out by only one basket at the finish. The winning Castlerea team are in the All Ireland Semi Final Cup competition which shows how talented and skilled our girls are to compete so well at this high standard. It was bitter sweet as the girls played their hearts out in the final game of their 6 years for Leaving Cert students Shauna Naughton, Eilis Ronayne, Lauren Diskin and our injured and major loss on the day Niamh Fleming. They have brought so much to the game throughout their time here and have made the school very proud! Best of luck girls in all your futures, you will be missed.
If you have graduated this year and you would like to be included, we would appreciate if you could email us a graduation photograph along with your name and the course/college you have graduated from. (Photos can be emailed to – dquinn @ dunmorecs.ie) before 16th December.
Please feel free to share and tag this with fellow past students that have graduated this academic year.
Thanks to all the colleges, parents and students that attended. We are delighted that you all found it so beneficial.
A special word of thanks to all our students who helped in so many different ways with the expo and made it such a successful event. We are so proud of you all.
Thanks also to St Jarlaths Credit Union for their kind sponsorship of our event.
Best of luck to our TY students whose photographs feature in the final tonight.
