Connacht Champion

Congratulations to Aoife Sheehy 3rd year who won the Connacht title in 300m Hurdles in the Connacht Schools Track & Field in Athlone. Aoife also came 2nd in the 800m. Aoife will represent the school in the All Ireland finals on Sat 4th June in Tullamore.

First Year Girls football

Our first year girls team travelled to Ballyhaunis to play in the Bumper Blitz involving 450 girls from all over Connacht. The idea was to encourage new girls to take up the sport by playing in small games in no competitive conditions. The girls displayed their talents in very tough weather conditions but we had a great time. We are really looking forward to next year.

‘Awakening’ Concert.

18 of our transition year girls have been working very hard learning the songs for this very special concert. It will consist of an evening off uplifting church and contemporary music. It is taking place Thursday 5th of May at 7.30pm in the Breaffy Sports Arena, Castlebar. This music celebration will be provided by over 350 young people from various schools across the diocese. The proceeds from this very special gathering will go to Pieta House. We would very much appreciate it if as many parents could support this rare and special event.

Tickets are €12 and are available from Teresa by ringing 0872424927.
