Leaving Cert/Leaving Cert Applied Graduation

Congrats to all our students who graduated last Thursday. We celebrated their achievement by holding a LC/LCA Graduation Mass and Awards Ceremony, followed by some light refreshments and tea. 

We hope you enjoyed the evening in DCS and the rest of the night!  Special congrats to our “Claudia Gavin Student of the Year” award winner Colin Comer, the “Anne Flynn Science Award” winner Leah Noone and the “Pat Heaney Music Award” joint winners Colin Comer, the Sports Star Awards Dylan Hanley and Alife Sheehy, and the inaugural Sisters of Mercy Award winner Chloe Fleming. Also congratulations to all our Award Winners and those who received Certificates yesterday, and of course to all our students who graduated on the night. We are very proud of all of you.

State Exam Fees – due by 26th April

Please check with your 3rd Year/6th Year/LCA student for an important form that has been sent home with them in relation to: Payment of Examination Fees/Application for Medical card Exemption.

Please note the deadline for completion of this application is Friday the 26th of April 2019, (which falls during the Easter Holidays.) Also please note that the medical Card must be valid on the 26th April – GP Cards are not accepted.

Enrolment Night 2019 Photos & Survey

Thanks to everyone who came along on Thursday night to experience our school and to meet our students and staff. It was lovely to meet you all. We really hope you got the opportunity to experience the wonderful atmosphere of our school. For those who were unable to make it, here are some photos from the night. Application forms are available from the school office for anyone who requires one.

We really hope all 6th class students are more relaxed and excited about coming to us next August.

School Open

School will be open as normal this morning. Obviously, please exercise extreme care when traveling to school in case of fallen branches, loose debris etc.
