Manuel and Bea

We bid a fond farewell to Manuel and Bea who are returning home to Spain after spending the school year in Transition Year. They settled in so well from the very start and immersed themselves in so many activities throughout the year. They established many friendships and had a great rapport with students and staff. They were highly complimented for their participation in work experience on Fridays and indeed they showed great enthusiasm in all their subjects and projects and enjoyed all aspects of Irish culture and education. Staff and students will have many happy memories of their time spent in DCS. We wish them the best of luck in the future. (B. Clesham)

‘Awakening’ Concert.

18 of our transition year girls have been working very hard learning the songs for this very special concert. It will consist of an evening off uplifting church and contemporary music. It is taking place Thursday 5th of May at 7.30pm in the Breaffy Sports Arena, Castlebar. This music celebration will be provided by over 350 young people from various schools across the diocese. The proceeds from this very special gathering will go to Pieta House. We would very much appreciate it if as many parents could support this rare and special event.

Tickets are €12 and are available from Teresa by ringing 0872424927.
