Congrats to Scott Green and Dearbhla Neenan who represented the school in a debate in St Jarlath’s College to celebrate Proclamation Day. Scott was also commended for being one of the top 3 speakers on the day. Well done!
An information evening will take place on Thursday 10th March in Dunmore CS for current 3rd year and TY students and parents.
Starting at 7:30pm for current 3rd Year students/parents and 8:00pm for Transition Year students/parents.

Transition Year students along with Ger Brady from Bank of Ireland, Dunmore have set up a school bank. Students can open an account for €5 and the school bank will be open every Thursday at lunch time. Once 50 accounts are opened, account holder names will be entered in a draw for an I Pad! To be in the draw, make sure you open an account! Karl comer and James Quinn (transition year) have qualified as green school ambassadors 2016. In partnership with Irish water this programme focuses on the water theme of the green schools programme. They attended a workshop today which included speakers in the field of engineering, talks from the green schools and clean coasts programmes. They were also given a tour of the Terryland water treatment plant. Both students received certificates today. Now time to implement all of this new knowledge into DCS😀 ( ABrogan)

The Western Regional Drugs Task Force (WRDTF) in conjunction with the Gardai, HSE and Western Region Social Personal and Health Education (SPHE) Support Service wish to inform you that an evening talk at Dunmore Community school will be held on Monday,22nd February from 7.30-9.00 pm.(More details of other workshops later)Refreshments on the night.

Thanks to all the parents and future students who came along to our open evening. It was great to meet you all this evening. We hope you all enjoyed the tour of our school, and that our incoming first years enjoyed the evening.
