Free Parenting Workshop
01 December 2011 - 12:39
A free Workshop for parents will be held in Dunmore Community School on Tuesday, the 6th Dec,from 7-9pm on issues surrounding alcohol,drugs and sexual health.

It will be facilitated by trained personnel from Aids West. Tea and refreshments will be served. All parents are invited to attend.
Parents are asked to return attendance slips with their son/daughter by Monday 5th Dec to their Year Head for seating purposes.
Mass Of Remembrance

A Mass of Remembrance for past Students and Staff will be held on the 29th Of November at 7:30pm in the school Auditorium. All welcome.
Parents Council Fundraiser

The Parents Council Annual fundraiser this year will be a Flower Arranging Demonstration by the renowned 'Richard Haslam'. The demonstration will be held on November the 24th at 7:30pm.

Tickets are €10 each, and are available from any member of the staff or Parents' Council of Dunmore CS.

Items made on the night will be raffled at the end of the night.

Please support as it will be the only fundraiser of the Parents Council this year.

Parents' Council Christmas Raffle

Dunmore Community Schools Parents' Council have organised thier annual Christmas Raffle. There are 5 Christmas Hampers to be won, which are on display in Howleys-Eurospar.

Students are now selling lines at €2 each, or a full card for €20. It is also possible to purchase lines at Howleys the weekend before the draw.

The draw will take place in DCS on Tuesday 22nd December 2009.

Substance Misuse Awareness/Information Evening

The Western Region Drugs Task Force (WRDTF) in conjunction with the Gardai and HSE Western Region, Social Personal and Heath Education (SPHE) Support Service wish to inform you of an evening talk at Dunmore Community School to be held on Tuesday 20th October from 7.30 – 9.00p.m.

During the evening, the Gardai will present the current situation with drugs in the region, the legal situation and what to look out for.

The WRDTF Education Worker will look at communicating with your children
